- Fayetteville Art Guild Non-Juried Exhibition: “Looking Forward” has the deadlines of Friday and Saturday, February 18 and 19, from 11AM to 5PM for hand delivery of artwork to Gallery ONE13, 113 Gillespie Street.
Opening Reception: Fourth Friday, February 25, from 6PM to 9PM at Gallery ONE13 with music and refreshments.
Eligibility: Open to all artists eighteen years of age and older and residing in Cumberland county or in the surrounding trade area or is a Fayetteville Art Guild Member.
Media: Original 2-D and 3-D works of art in all mediums, including oil, acrylic, pastels, watercolor, photography, jewelry, fabric, pottery, etc.
Specifications: Artists may submit a maximum of two original works of art that have been completed within the last two years and have not been exhibited before in Cumberland County. Size of work may not be larger than 48” X 48” including frame. All works that hang must be properly wired. Not for Sale works must be marked “NFS” on the entry form.
Entry Fee: $15 for Art Guild Members and $20 for Non Members for 1 or 2 entries.
Department of Performing and Fine Arts at Fayetteville State University, is seeking artists’ submissions of original works of art for an exhibition that focuses on the vast artistic creativity of African and African American dance idioms, dance artists and companies. FEBRUARY 26 (9AM to 7PM) Deadline: Entry forms for the
“Art! Right Now! 2011” competition that is sponsored by Robeson Art Council and is a fundraiser for the Southeastern Family Violence Center are available at

“Reuse, Renew, Recycle” and artwork must have been completed from March 1, 2010 through February 28, 2011. Open to all artists and all types of 3-D and 2-D media. 2-D artwork should be framed and wired ready to hang. Artwork shows from February 27 to March 5 at the Osternech Auditorium, Lumberton. Fee is $15 for first entry and $10 each for entries two and three. Artwork should not be priced above $500. Purchase award of $500 for works selected by sponsors from any theme; two awards of $500 for one 2-D and one 3-D, two awards of $250 in any category, one award of $100 for entry by public and private school art teachers and one award of $100 for entry by amateur artists who are current students in community art classes.
